■ Power supply from an AC adapter (when using an AC adapter)
• Do not connect the AC adapter to a power line which may cause electrical interference.
Although this instrument has reasonable protection against electrical interference,
supplying power from such a line may hamper correct measurement.
• Do not have the AC adapter plug contact with the SPC or RS-232C connector on the
display unit. Instrument failure will result.
• Never use other than the AC adapter supplied for this instrument. Connecting an AC
adapter other than the supplied one causes a recharging malfunction or failure.
• Only use the supplied AC adapter for this instrument. Using the adapter with equipment
other than the SJ-410 may cause damage to the adapter or equipment.
1 Set the battery switch to ON. For more information about the built-in battery switch,
refer to "■ Power supply from a built-in battery (when using a built-in battery)" (page
3-27).
Proceed to the next step if the battery switch is on.
2 Connect the AC adapter to the wall outlet.
3 Connect the AC adapter plug to the AC adapter connector at the rear of the display
unit.

4 Press the [POWER] key to turn the power on. Depending on the recharging progress,
press to turn the power on.
