5.2 Operation Method for the Drive Unit
This section explains manual repositioning of the drive unit, repositioning the drive unit for
narrow-area measurement, and the auto-return function of the drive unit.
5.2.1 Repositioning the drive unit manually
You c an reposition the detector to the arbitrary position from the Drive Unit Operation
screen.
■ Operating procedure (Refer to 5.1 "■ Accessing the Drive Unit Operation screen".)

Touching
moves the detector away from the origin position.
The detector moves while the operation button is being
touched.
5.2.2 Repositioning the drive unit for narrow-area measurement
Reposition the drive unit to the narrow-area measurement starting position (origin position).
Immediately after the drive unit is repositioned for the narrow-area measurement,
measurement is performed with the short approach length.
The speed for repositioning to the origin follows the returning speed specified in the
measurement conditions.
■ Operating procedure (Refer to 5.1 "■ Accessing the Drive Unit Operation screen".)
