19.2.2 Tilt adjustment unit
Careful, precision leveling task is necessary for performing roughness measurement. With
the tilt adjustment unit, however, adjustment in the horizontal direction can be easily
performed using the micrometer head.
The tilt adjustment unit supports the DAT function of this product. For information about
the operation procedure, refer to "15.5 Adjustment using the Leveling Table" (page 15-12).
NOTE
• The tilt adjustment unit can only be used for skidless measurement.

• When attaching the simple column stand, exercise care so as not to drop the drive unit
or unit to prevent damage.
