7.5.4 Changing Over-Range Error Process Setting
The SJ-410 allows for selecting a counteraction whether the measurement is continued or
aborted, if an over-range error occurs.
The following 4 actions are available for an over-range error.
ESC: Aborts the measurement if an over-range error occurs.
ESC: Aborts the measurement only when an over-range error occurs at + side.
ESC: Aborts the measurement only when an over-range error occurs at - side.
GO: Continues the measurement if an over-range error occurs.
IMPORTANT
• When is selected, measurement can continue even if an over-range
error occurs during measurement. The calculation is done with over-range values. “V” is
displayed at the beginning of the calculated results with over-range values.
When the maximum limit is reached at + side (400 μm) (14.173 μin), buzzer sounds and
measurement is aborted to protect the drive even when an over-range error process is
disabled.
