5.5.2 Measurement using the automatic positioning unit
This section explains auto-start measurement using the automatic positioning unit.
In auto-start measurement, (1) automatic positioning, (2) measurement, (3) retraction (4)
auto-return are performed in this order.
Move the detector to the measurement starting position before performing auto-start.
In auto-start measurement, ON/OFF for (3) retraction and (4) auto-return can be set on the
Drive Unit Operation screen. The following shows the settings and the operation of the
detector.
TIP
• ON/OFF for auto-start, retraction, and auto-return can also be set on the Measurement
Conditions screen. Refer to "7.5 Setting Measurement Conditions" (page 7-49).
