2.2 Outline of the Touch Panel
Touch panel is used to set conditions for measurement, statistical processing and printing.
This section explains the functions of the keys on touch panel including how they are used
when entering numeric values or characters.
2.2.1 Using the touch panel (Stylus pen)
On the touch panel, buttons that allow for access to the SJ-410 functions are displayed.

When touching (pressing) these buttons, use your finger or the supplied stylus pen as
shown below.

IMPORTANT
• When using the touch panel, avoid doing the following. Otherwise, the touch panel may
be damaged.
･ Do not press too hard.
･ Do not use pointed objects such as pens.
･ Do not touch the panel with dirty hands. Use the stylus pen instead.
NOTE
• If the stylus pen will not be used for a long period of time, keep it inside the display unit.
For information about storing the touch pen, refer to "■ Storing the touch pen in the
display unit" (page 20-1) in "20.1 Daily Care".
