13.18 Selecting the Stylus
If the stylus is replaced with a stylus provided as an optional accessory to widen the
measuring range, the type of stylus set for this system must be changed. Various types of
styli as well as the standard stylus are available for this system as optional accessories.
NOTE
• If the stylus is detached and attached, or replaced, make sure to perform calibration
Without properly calibrating the instrument, correct measurements can not be obtained.

Touch the stylus to be selected.
 The code of the stylus is shown on the Stylus Customize
screen. The arm length and height of the stylus are shown at
the bottom of the window.
