2． Obtain a waviness envelope curve by connecting only the peaks of the roughness
motifs.
3． In the same way as for the roughness motif, obtain the waviness motif from the peaks
and valleys in the waviness envelope curve.
4. Compare and combine consecutive waviness motifs. The combining conditions are the
same as for roughness motifs, except that the maximum motif length is B.
5． Calculate the parameters defined for waviness motifs.
