16.3 Analyzing the Graph
BAC and ADC are displayed on the Analyze Graph screen.
You can confirm the coordinate value of the waveform graph using the ruler.
The unit of the coordinate can be switched to % and mm/μm (in/μin). You can modify the
evaluation profile to match the target surface. Touch
[Switch to Z Unit]/ [Switch
to X Unit] to switch the unit of the coordinate.
16.3.1 Analyzing the BAC
The BAC is based on the peak reference and consists of making Rmr values obtained
from the slice levels (vertical axis) of the percentage (0 to 100%) against the Rt value on
the horizontal axis, and making the range of the vertical axis 0 to 100%.
Specify two points on the Z-coordinate of the BAC to display the coordinate difference
between the specified coordinates.
The coordinate difference is the point where the graph and ruler 2 intersect (P2) minus the
point where the graph and ruler 1 intersect (P1).
There are 2 ways of specifying the Z-coordinate: touching the graph and entering the
coordinate values.
■ Specifying the Z-coordinate by touching the graph (Refer to 16.1 "■ Accessing the Analyze Graph screen".)

Analyze BAC Graph screen
The rulers are displayed on the Analyze BAC Graph screen.
The blue one is Ruler 1, the red one is Ruler 2.
When the Z-coordinate is specified for the first time, ruler 1 is
selected.
(blue) is displayed on the left of the selected ruler.
