6.7 Executing Preliminary Measurement for
Calibration
To execute preliminary measurement, refer to "15 PRELIMINARY MEASUREMENT
(AUXILIARY FUNCTIONS)" (page 15-1).
6.8 Setting the Stylus Type
If the stylus is replaced with a stylus provided as an optional accessory to widen the
measuring range, the type of stylus set for this system must be changed.
TIP
• If the stylus is detached and attached, or replaced, make sure to perform calibration
Without properly calibrating the instrument, correct measurements can not be obtained.
• Various types of styli as well as the standard stylus are available for this system as
optional accessories.
• The calibration values managed separately for each registered stylus. After you register
a stylus, be sure to perform calibration.
