3.3.3 Checking the zero point: for skid-attached measurement setup
To perform skid-attached measurement, check the zero point according to the following
procedure. Skidless measurement does not require the zero point checking.
■ Checking the zero point
1 Turn the SJ-410 on.
2 Check that the measuring range is set to AUTO.
If it is not set, modify it to AUTO.
TIP
• For information about modifying the measuring range, refer to "5.4.3 Switching the
range" (page 5-11).
3 Touch [Drive Unit Operation] on the Home screen.
The Drive Unit Operation screen appears.
NOTE
• Do not touch [Zero adjustment] on the Drive Unit Operation screen. If it is
touched, the zero point will be shifted, shifting the current stylus position.
