2.2.4 Entering numeric values/characters
With the SJ-410, it is sometimes necessary to enter numeric values or characters
(alphabets, “-”, and “_”) for such operations as saving the measurement condition files.
This section explains how to enter a numeric value or a character.
■ Entering a numeric value or a character to modify the measurement condition files
When entering a numeric value or a character, move the cursor to where you wish to start.
Characters include the symbols “-” and “_”.
The operating procedures are explained using an example where a file name is modified
from “COND_01” to “WORK_A” when specifying a new measurement condition.
NOTE
• The file name cannot include [*], [¥], and [.].
• The file name and folder name cannot include lower case of alphabets.
• Number of characters to be entered may be subject to limitations.
File name for measurement condition file: Up to 8 characters
Comment for measurement condition file: Up to 20 characters
File name for measurement result file: Up to 8 characters
Comment for measurement result file: Up to 20 characters
File name for statistical process results: Up to 8 characters
Comment for statistical process results: Up to 20 characters
Memo for printing: Up to 20 characters
