4.5.3 To start measurement from an arbitrary position
The SJ-410 can start measurement from an arbitrary position within the driving range.
■ Operation procedure
Home screen
1 Touch [Drive Unit Operation] on the Home screen to display
the Drive Unit Operation screen.

¾ The Drive Unit Operation screen appears.

2 Move the detector to the desired measurement position.
Touch the buttons according to the direction and distance to
reposition the stylus.
The movement speed differs depending on the button size. The
detector moves fastest with the largest button. As you touch the
smaller buttons, the detector moves slower.
Touching
moves the drive unit to the origin position.
Touching
moves the drive unit in the reverse direction of the
origin position.
