■ GO/NG judgment tolerancing rules
The SJ-410 can set the tolerancing rule of the GO/NG judgment function to the Mean rule,
16% rule, Max rule, or Standard Deviation (1 σ, 2 σ, 3 σ) rule.
IMPORTANT
• The tolerancing rules of the GO/NG judgment function apply only to parameters for
which a value for each sampling length within the evaluation range has been obtained
and an arithmetic mean determined.
• If the number of sampling lengths is 1 or if a parameter value is determined by the entire
sampling length, the following rule is applied irrespective of any tolerancing rule.
The result is No-Go if parameter value > upper limit value or parameter value < lower
limit value.
Mean rule: This rule decides Go or No-Go judgment through size comparison
between a parameter value, determined as an arithmetic mean of
measurements obtained for each sampling length within the
evaluation range, and the upper/lower limit value.
16% rule: The percentage of No-Go results for evaluation length
measurement values is obtained by individually judging the
measurement value for each sampling length against the
upper/lower limit values. If the obtained percentage of No-Go
sampling lengths is below 16%, the overall judgment is Go, and if
the obtained percentage of No-Go sampling lengths is over 16%,
the overall judgment is No-Go.
It gives the same results as the Max rule when less than 6 sampling
lengths are evaluated.
Max rule: The obtained measurement values of each evaluation length are
compared against the upper and lower limit values, and if any
evaluation length value exceeds the upper limit or falls below the
lower limit, a No-Go judgment is made.
Standard Deviation rule: The measurement value is obtained based on each sampling length
and determines the parameter value by using entire sampling length.
The obtained mean X and standard deviation σ are compared
against the upper (X+σ) and lower (X-σ) limit values, and when
any evaluation length value exceeds the upper limit or falls below
the lower limit, a No-Go judgment is made. The evaluation
conditions for 3 or more sampling length must be set as the
calculation conditions.
