NOTE
• Perform leveling operation with the cross-travel table again to make sure that leveling
operation has done properly. To level the measuring surface more precisely, repeat
leveling operation with the cross-travel table.
IMPORTANT
• The rotational direction of the tilt knob In the case where the tilt knob is located in the
measurement direction of the 50 mm (1.968 in) drive unit (the right side from the
anterior view), the rotational direction of the tilt knob is in this direction. However, the tilt
knob rotates in the reverse direction when the micrometer head is located in the
direction opposite the measurement direction of the 50 mm (1.968 in) drive unit (the left
side from the anterior view).
