■ Detaching the stylus and nosepiece
1 If the detector is attached to the connector unit, detach it from the connector unit.
2 Unfasten the nose set screw (socket-head screw), then pull out the skidless
nosepiece upward.
3 Unplug the stylus from the detector main unit.
NOTE
• If the skid-attached nosepiece is detached with the power of display unit turned on,
measurement cannot be performed correctly. Before detaching the skid-attached
nosepiece, turn the display unit power off and detach the detector from the connector
unit.
