• Never use other than the AC adapter supplied for this instrument. Connecting an AC
adapter other than the supplied one causes a recharging malfunction or failure.
• Only use the supplied AC adapter for this instrument. Using the adapter with equipment
other than the SJ-410 may cause damage to the adapter or equipment.
1 Connect the AC adapter to the wall outlet.
2 Connect the AC adapter plug to the AC adapter connector at the rear of the display
unit.
Connection of the AC adapter
➢ If the AC adapter is connected to the display unit, recharging of the battery will
automatically start.
The icon indicating the progress of charging appears on the touch panel while
charging the battery. If fully charged, the icon will go off.

➢ If the built-in battery is fully charged or almost fully charged, recharging will not
start even if the AC adapter is connected to the display unit.
In this case, the icon indicating that the battery is fully charged appears on the
touch panel for several seconds.

• Do not turn off the battery switch during charging. Charging will be terminated if the
switch is turned off.
• Never connect/disconnect the AC adapter during recharging. Otherwise, recharging
may stop before the battery is fully charged.
