3.6 Modulation Analysis Measurement
Remote
Command
:SYSTem:COMMunicate:ANALyzer:MIMO:CAPability?
Example
:SYST:COMM:ANAL:MIMO:CAP?
Notes This command is intended for VXT but be compatible to EXM
The query result will be returned in a string containing maxInputChan, maxOutputChan and Multi-box
synchronization capability separated by comma of the remote analyzer
If –MMO installed and –MTS installed, then return 8,8,1
If –MMO installed and –MTS not installed, then return 4,4,0
If –MMO not installed and –MTS installed, then return 1,1,1
If –MMO not installed and –MTS not installed, then return 1,1,0
3.6.8.11 Tx Beam Forming Type (Remote Command Only)
When license V9077B-KFP/KTP is installed, this parameter specifies the EVM
demod algorithm for EVM results or Tx Beam Forming results.
Remote
Command
[:SENSe]:EVM:BFORming:MTYPe EVM | TXBFcal
[:SENSe]:EVM:BFORming:MTYPe?
Notes This command is only available when license V9077B-KFP/KTP is installed; otherwise, “-113, Undefined
Header” error will be reported
This parameter takes effect when the Radio Std is 802.11n(20MHz), 802.11n (40MHz), 802.11ac
(20MHz), 802.11ac (40MHz), 802.11ac (80MHz) and 802.11ac (160MHz)
When EVM is selected, the result index 1~20 are calculated with meaningful values for EVM
measurement, and result 21, 22 and 23 results are -999.0;
When TXBFcal is selected, the result index 1~20 values will not be calculated; Instead, result 21, 22 and
23 are calculated and returned
Preset EVM
Range EVM | TXBFcal
3.6.8.12 MIMO Tx Channel (Remote Command Only)
Specifies the Tx channel count of the measured MIMO signal. This setting specifies
Tx Beam Forming channel count, and Fast Power Calibration channel count.
Remote
Command
[:SENSe]:EVM:ACCHannel <integer>
[:SENSe]:EVM:ACCHannel?
Notes For Radio Std 802.11n (20MHz) and 802.11n (40MHz), we only support Tx Beam Forming with channel
count <=4;
For Radio Std 802.11ac (20MHz), 802.11ac (40MHz), 802.11ac (80MHz), and 802.11ac (160MHz), we
support Tx Beam Forming with channel count <=8
