Channel Estimation Filter
This parameter is available when Radio Std is 802.11n/ac/ax/be.
Specify the filter type used to interpolate or smooth the channel response sequence.
–
None/Linear: No interpolation filter is applied.
–
Triangular: A simple triangular-weighted moving average, with special handling
at the ends of the channel response to avoid biasing the end points , is applied to
the channel response estimate before equalization.
The triangular weights applied to the subcarrier and adjacent subcarriers are as
follows: 1 2 ... (N-1)/2 ... 2 1
–
Wiener (default): a Wiener filter is applied to the channel response estimate
before equalization.
Channel Estimation Filter will be coupled to 'None/Linear' when Equalizer Training
switches to “Ch Est Seq & Data”. Since “Wiener filter” and “Triangle filter” will
degrade the “Least squared” estimated channel using both the channel estimation
sequence and the entire data portion of the burst and then degrades the EVM
performance.
Remote Command
:CALCulate:EVMMimo:CEFilter:TYPE WIENer | TRIangle | NONE
:CALCulate:EVMMimo:CEFilter:TYPE??
Example
:CALC:EVMM:CEF:TYPE NONE
:CALC:EVMM:CEF:TYPE?
