3.6 Modulation Analysis Measurement
3.6 Modulation Analysis Measurement
This measurement provides modulation analysis capabilities for signals complying
with 802.11a/b/j/p/g/n/ac/ah/af/ax/be standards. The definition and requirement
for modulation analysis measurement in different standards refer to the following
table:
Standard Date Sections
IEEE Std 802.11a-1999(R2003) 2003-06 17.3.9.4
17.3.9.5

This measurement does not provide the users with complete demod bits for PBCC.
The WLAN application automatically handles all 802.11b signal formats, including
the short preamble and the PBCC formats (though it doesn’t decode the bits of the
PBCC formats). The WLAN automatically handles all 802.11g formats that are
compatible with 802.11b, including the PBCC22 and PBCC33 modes (though it
again doesn’t decode the bits of these PBCC formats).
This measurement is dedicated for WLAN.
