3 WLAN Mode
3.7 WLAN MIMO Modulation Analysis Measurement
Enable FFT SEM Offset D (Remote Command Only)
Sets the FFT SEM Offset D On/Off if Radio Standard is not 80+80 MHz. There are
fixed 20 MHz btw start and stop frequency of Offset D. This is preset by
measurement preset.
Remote Command
:DIAGnostic:EVMMimo:SEMask:WSPan 0 | 1 | Off | On
:DIAGnostic:EVMMimo:SEMask:WSPan?
Example
:DIAG:EVMM:SEM:WSP 1
:DIAG:EVMM:SEM:WSP?
Notes This is an alias SCPI of [:SENSe]:EVMMimo:SEMask:WSPan 0 | 1 | Off | On
Dependencies This setting is available only when Radio Standard is not 80+80 MHz
Preset 0
FFT SEM Multi-Burst (Remote Command Only)
Enable/Disable multiple burst processing for FFT SEM. When this setting is set to 1,
multiple bursts captured in one acquisition are calculated for FFT SEM.
Remote Command
[:SENSe]:EVMMimo:SEMask:MBURst 0 | 1 | Off | On
[:SENSe]:EVMMimo:SEMask:MBURst?
Notes Multiple Burst Processing is introduced to save sync time and data transfer time between primary and
secondary modules when Average State is On and Average Number > 1. If Average State is Off, or
Average Number = 1, Multiple Burst makes no difference with normal behavior
Dependencies Only available when instrument is EXM or VXT. Otherwise, turning on Multi Burst will bring up error
message: “MBurst detection Sem is not supported by this instrument”
Couplings When FFT SEM Multi-Burst is turned On, the max value of FFT Acquisition Time is coupled with MIMO
Type, Average Number and Sampling Rate as listed below:
(8000008 / MIMO Channel Number / Average Number – 1) / Sampling Rate
When Radio Standard is
–
not 80+80 MHz,
MIMO Channel Number is n, if MIMO Type is MnMn, e.g., for 4x4 MIMO, the value is 4
–
80+80 MHz,
MIMO Channel Number is 2 x n, if MIMO Type is MnMn, e.g., for 4x4 MIMO, the value is 8
