4. MEASUREMENT FLOW
3 Move the stylus to the measurement starting position, and press .
Measurement starts.
4 To prevent the damage of detector and stylus, release the stylus from a workpiece
before tilt adjustment.

Raise the drive/detector unit by turning the up/down knob clockwise.
5 Adjust the level by turning the tilt knob according to the corrected value displayed in
the screen.

Turning the tilt knob will change the tilt
angle of the drive/detector unit.

6 After adjustment is complete, set the stylus in place on the workpiece, then bring its
position to near the center by vertical positioning.
7 Press to perform the DAT measurement again to confirm that the leveling is
complete.
