TIP
• When [Zero Adj.] on the Drive Unit Operation screen is touched, the stylus
position at that time becomes the zero point for measurement. For more information,
refer to "
4.2.3 Perform zero adjustment" (page 4-3).
IMPORTANT
To adjust the position by turning the tilt knob clockwise for leveling, turn the knob while
confirming so that the stylus and the drive/detector unit do not become the situation as
shown below. Under the state shown below, the detector may be damaged by the
excessive force applied.
If it becomes the situation below, stop the leveling by the tilt knob and restart from setting
the drive/detector unit to appropriate position against a workpiece.
● Leveling with the height/tilt adjustment unit (for skid-attached measurement)
No strict leveling is needed for skid-attached measurement. However, perform visual
leveling within the measuring range and within the range in which the over-range will not
occur.
