4. MEASUREMENT FLOW
● Leveling with the height/tilt adjustment unit (for skidless measurement)
1 Set to the Home screen.
2 Check whether the level meter in the Home screen is pointing nearly at the center.
NOTE
• Be sure to traverse the detector because this is the preliminary operation for leveling.
3 Touch on the Home screen to display the Drive Unit Operation screen.
4 Press and move the detector manually for driving range.
5 After performing step 3, check whether the level meter pointing position (the end
point of the driving range) is in the same position as in step 2 (the start point of the
driving range).
6 If there is difference in the level meter, proceed to step 7 for tilt adjustment.
If there is no difference in the level meter, leveling is not required. (It is leveled)
7 Turn the tilt knob while observing the level meter position so that it indicates at
center.

Turning the tilt knob will change the tilt
angle of the drive/detector unit.
(Approx. 0.27° per full turn of the knob)
