19. INSTALLING THE SJ-410 WITH OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES
■ Attaching the X-axis adjustment unit and automatic positioning unit
NOTE
• Make sure to use the supplied screws.
• When attaching the simple column stand, exercise care so as not to drop the drive unit
or unit to prevent damage.
• When the units are used in combination, the straightness accuracy of the SJ-411/412
drive unit is reduced for approx. 0.2 μm (7.874 μin).
1 Remove the mount board from the simple column stand.

2 Loosen the 4 securing screws to remove the mount board from the automatic
positioning unit.

3 Attach the automatic positioning unit to the X-axis adjustment unit using the 4
automatic positioning unit securing screws.
