IDLE ← Type
Searches for an idle frame. The frame is used for clock synchronization.
Error ← Type
Searches for the specified error frame.
Destination address
Sets the specified destination address to be searched for. The destination address
setup consists of the condition and one or two data patterns.
The destination address corresponds to the address of the interface in the device that
receives the frame. If the destination address does not match the interface’s own
Ethernet address, then the interface is free to ignore the rest of the frame.
"Condition"
Defines the operator to set a specific destination address, e.g.
"Equal" or "Not Equal") or a range.
"Data Min/Data"
Defines the bit pattern of the destination address pattern.
In binary format, use the following characters: 1; 0; or X (do not care).
To enter the pattern in other formats use the bit pattern editor, see
Chapter 13.1.7, "Bit pattern editor", on page 519.
"Data Max"
The second data pattern is required to specify a range with conditions
"In range" and "Out of range".
