Risk of DUT damage due to high input power
The settings combination "ALC > Sample Level > Full" and "ALC > State > Off (Sample
&Hold)" or "ALC > State > Sample & On" results in signals with large headroom. With
this settings combination, the R&S SMBV100B generates a short sample pulse with full
RF output power.
To protect the DUT from damage due to high input power, use the setting "Sample
Level > Attenuated" or "Sample Level > Minimum".
