(Specified) External Delay/(Specified) Trigger Delay
The name of the parameter and the units the delay is expressed in, changes depend-
ing on the parameter (External) Delay Unit.
Delays the trigger event provided by:
The external trigger source
Other instrument in master-slave mode
Use the settings to:
Synchronize the instrument with the device under test (DUT) or other external devi-
ces
Compensate for signal delay and align the signals in time

The parameter Actual Trigger Delay/Actual External Delay displays the delay conver-
ted in time.

Actual Trigger Delay/Actual External Delay
Displays the time (in seconds) an external trigger event or a trigger event form the
other path is delayed with.
