State
Enables/disables digital modulation. Switching on digital modulation turns off all other
digital standards.
The digital modulation is generated in real time (no precalculated signal), and therefore
while the digital modulation is enabled, all parameter changes directly affect the output
signal.
Remote command:
[:SOURce<hw>]:BB:DM:STATe on page 714
Set To Default
Calls default settings. The values are listed in Table 3-5.
Remote command:
[:SOURce<hw>]:BB:DM:PRESet on page 715
Save/Recall
Accesses the "Save/Recall" dialog, that is the standard instrument function for saving
and recalling the complete dialog-related settings in a file. The provided navigation
possibilities in the dialog are self-explanatory.
The filename and the directory, in which the settings are stored, are user-definable; the
file extension is however predefined.
See also Chapter 9, "File and Data Management", on page 471.

Set according to Standard
Selects a predefined communication standard.
"Predefined communication standard"
Selects a predefined communication standard.
A subset of parameters is automatically adjusted: "Modulation Type",
"Symbol Rate", "Filter" and "Coding".
Refer to Table 3-6 for an overview of the available standards and the
associated settings of the modulation parameters.
"User"
Set automatically, this value indicates a modification made on at least
one of the parameters.
Use the "Save/Recall" function to store and recall customized set-
tings.
