11.4.1 Network Settings
Risk of network failure
Consult your network administrator before performing the following tasks:

Connecting the instrument to the network
●
Configuring the network
●
Changing IP addresses
Errors can affect the entire network.
Access:
► Select "System Config > Remote Access > Network".
In the "Network" dialog, you can configure the settings of the general network envi-
ronment and specific identification parameters of the instrument in the network.
The remote commands required to configure the network remotely are described in
Chapter 12.17, "SYSTem Subsystem", on page 889.
How to connect the signal generator to the network is described in the Chapter 2.1.4,
"Setting Up a Network (LAN) Connection", on page 37.
Network Status
Indicates that the instrument is connected to the network.
