config Commands
This chapter describes the configuration file management commands.
22.1 config Commands Summary
The following table lists the config commands. The P column on the right indicates the
administrator privilege level needed to use the command.

Downloads a configuration file from an
FTP server and restores it to the MSC.
ip: an FTP server’s IP address
filename: the path and filename to save
on the FTP server
username: the user name to log into the
FTP server
password: the password of the user
account

upload <ip> <filename>
<username>
<password>
Downloads the current configuration file
from the MSC and uploads it to an FTP
server.
ip: an FTP server’s IP address
filename: the path and filename of the
configuration file on the FTP server
username: the user name to log into the
FTP server
password: the password of the user
account

save
Saves current configuration to non-
volatile memory.

Downloads the current configuration file
from the MSC to a TFTP server.
