Management Switch Card User’s Guide

The profile is a list of VDSL2 line configuration settings. After you create a VDSL2 line profile, you
can have a VDSL2 template use it and then assign the VDSL2 template to VDSL2 ports.
[psdmaskds <psd_index> <psd>
[...]]
= Adjusts the MIB PSD level on downstream tones.
psd-index: Enter a number from 1 to 4096, 0 means
not used A tone is a sub-channel of VDSL band. DMT
divides VDSL bands into many 4.3125 kHz tones.
psd: Enter 0~190 to represent 0~-95 dBm/Hz in
steps of 0.5dBm/Hz.
[psdmaskus <psd_index> <psd>
[...]]
= Adjusts the MIB PSD level on upstream tones.
[sostimeds <sos_time>]
[sostimeus <sos_time>]
= The downstream (ds) and upstream (us) duration of
the SOS time window, 64 ~ 16320 ms.
[soscrcds <sos_crc>]
[soscrcus <sos_crc>]
= The downstream (ds) and upstream (us) minimum
number of normalized CRC anomalies, 0 ~ 65535 in
units of 0.02 that must occur during the time window
to trigger SOS.
[sosntoneds <sos_ntone>]
[sosntoneus <sos_ntone>]
= The downstream (ds) and upstream (us) minimum
percentage of degraded tones that must also occur
throughout the time window to trigger SOS, 0 ~ 100.
[sosmaxds <sos_max>]
[sosmaxus <sos_max>]
= The downstream (ds) and upstream (us) maximum
allowed number of successful SOS procedures within
120 seconds before triggering a full re-initialization, 0
~ 15.
[rocsnrmds <roc_snrm>]
[rocsnrmus <roc_snrm>]
= The downstream (ds) and upstream (us) signal-to-
noise ratio margin for the ROC (Robust Overhead
Channel), 0 ~ 310 in 0.1 dB units.
[rocmininpds <roc_mininp>]
[rocmininpus <roc_mininp>]
= The downstream (ds) and upstream (us) impulse
noise protection for the ROC, 0 ~ 16.
[rocenableds disable|enable]
[rocenableus disable|enable]
= Turn the downstream (ds) or upstream (us) ROC on
or off.
[dynamicdds disable|enable]
[dynamicdus disable|enable]
= Turn the downstream (ds) or upstream (us) dynamic
interleave depth adjustment on or off.
[compatible none|adsl2|adsl2+]
= Sets the PSD of this port to be compatible with
ADSL2 or ADSL2+ CPEs. Sets this to none if neither
ADSL2 nor ADSL2+ CPEs are connected to this port.
[transmissiontype
<transmissiontype>]
= Sets the desired and allowed transmission modes
that can be used on this line. The possible modes are
vdsl2, adsl2+, adsl2, gdmt, t1413, glite annex-m,
annex-l. You can separate them by using ",". The
system forbids other modes not specified to run on
this line.
