Image Quality Troubleshooting
27 Multi Color Transfer Failure Transfer If continuous print is performed in high humidity environ-
ment, the resistance of secondary transfer part rises
temporary. The necessary electric field cannot be
acquired from the drop of transfer electrical current,
which may result in lighter shade in multicolor.

Secondary transfer voltage off-set adjustment:
Optimize secondary transfer voltage with Mainte-
nance -> Adjust 2nd BTR (Set to Plus side).

edge gets flipped-up after going through the Reg Shoot

of the postcard (Toner gets scattered).

• Lower the TC (Toner density) in the develop-

half tone part but may worsen when TC is high
(Low humidity environment).
• TC may overshoot on the tall side and worsen
immediately after replacing the Toner Cartridge.

35 Galling Ghost Xero When continuous image is continuously printed in the
process direction like the Xero longitudinal rule line, the
image gets seared into the photo receptor and the
seared image gets detected when HT image is
extracted. -> This will disappear if left alone.
