Troubleshooting
SMTP server name resolution for email send failed.
Cause/Action
Recover after the [OK] or [Close] button is pressed or message is displayed for specified time. On CWIS,
check SMTP server is set correctly. In addition, check if DNS server is set correctly. If the error persists
after the action above is taken, ensure that the error replicates after the printer is powered off and then
on, and then replace the ESS PWB. (PL 18.2)
016-504 POP Server Address Resolution Fail for Maillib
BSD-ON:-
POP3 server name resolution for email send failed.
Cause/Action

Cause/Action
Recover after the [OK] or [Close] button is pressed or message is displayed for specified time. On CWIS,
check if SMTP server or POP3 server is set. If the error persists after the action above is taken, ensure
that the error replicates after the printer is powered off and then on, and then replace the ESS PWB. (PL

016-507 SMTP Authentication Fail for Maillib

016-520 Ipsec Certificate Error
BSD-ON:-
Self device certificate error.
Cause/Action
Certificate of self device is invalid. Contact administrator. Reset certificate from other connectable client
with EWS. If no device can be connected, disconnect cable, turn off IPsec, and then reset certificate with
EWS.
016-521 Ipsec Certificate Error
BSD-ON:-
Remote device certification verification error.
Cause/Action
Certificate of destination client is invalid. Contact administrator. Confirm certificate of destination client
and reset.
016-530 LDAP Address Book- Access Error
BSD-ON:-
LDAP Address Book Other Access Errors.
Cause/Action
Turn the power off and on to check that the error recurs.-Checking the LDAP setting.-Update to the latest
F/W.If the error persists after the action above is taken, ensure that the error replicates after the printer is
powered off and then on, and then replace the ESS PWB. (PL 18.2).
016-570 Job Ticket Out Of Memory
BSD-ON:-
XPIF parser detects insufficient memory in the processing of XCPT (XPIF) interpretation.
Cause/Action
Recover after the [OK] or [Close] button is pressed or message is displayed for specified time.
