016-359 MRAM Fail
BSD-ON:-
MRAM Device error.
Cause/Action
1. Turn the power OFF and ON.
2. If the problem persists, replace the ESS PWB. (PL 18.2)
016-369 UI Panel - ESS Communication Fail
BSD-ON:CH2.1
Communication error with Control Panel and ESS F/W.
Cause/Action
1. Turn the power OFF and ON.
2. Turn the Power OFF and check for disconnection, shortage or contact failure of wire between Con-
trol Panel J840 and ESS PWB J436.
3. If no problem is found, replace the following parts in sequence:
• Control Panel (PL 1.1)
• ESS PWB (PL 18.2)
016-389 Download Insertion Error
BSD-ON:-
Unable to access the Font ROM.
Cause/Action
1. Turn the power OFF and ON.
2. Turn the Power Off to check if the device supports Option Font ROM or not from the specification. If
the device supports it, check the connection.
3. If the problem persists, replace the ESS PWB. (PL 18.2)
016-404 Certificate DB Error
BSD-ON:-
Certificate DB access error.
Cause/Action
Certificate DB is invalid. Initialize certificate DB and security setting and then restart the printer.
016-405 Certificate DB Error
BSD-ON:-
Invalid security setting error.
Cause/Action
Security setting mismatch. Initialize certificate DB and security setting and then restart the printer. Con-
tact administrator for security resetting.
016-500 Download Delete Error
BSD-ON:-
Flash delete error in download.
Cause/Action
Turn the power off and on to check that the error recurs. Then,update to the latest F/W. If the problem
cannot be solved, replace the ESS PWB. (PL 18.2)
016-501 Download Write Error
BSD-ON:-
Flash write error in download.
Cause/Action
Turn the power off and on to check that the error recurs. Then,update to the latest F/W. If the problem
cannot be solved, replace the ESS PWB. (PL 18.2)
016-502 Download Verify Error
BSD-ON:-
Flash verify error in download.
Cause/Action
Turn the power off and on to check that the error recurs. Then,update to the latest F/W. If the problem
cannot be solved, replace the ESS PWB. (PL 18.2)
