Step 6: Remove the left front cover
NOTE: The gures in this section show the 586 printer. However, the instructions for removing the cover are
valid for 556 printers.
1. Remove one screw (callout 1).

2. Release one tab (callout 1), and then release the cover by sliding it up about 10 mm (0.4 in).
NOTE: This cover can be very diicult to release. It might be easier to use a at-blade screwdriver to
pry the bottom edge of the cover up and away from the chassis.
