6. Disconnect one HDMI cable (callout 1) and one connector (callout 2), and then remove the control panel.

Step 2: Remove the left-rear top cover cap (556)

Open the left door, and then carefully pull the cover o of the printer.

TIP: It might be easier remove the cover o by using a small at-blade screwdriver.

Step 3: Remove the left rear cover

NOTE: The gures in this section show the 586 printer. However, the instructions for removing the cover are

valid for 556 printers.
