6 Wait for the heaters to reach the set temperatures (see Figure 5-50).

instructions and information on loading the sample vials into the wells.
8 Place the headspace needle in the 40 mL vial that contains the sample. Gently
depress into sample vial. See Figure 5-51.
The headspace needle is very sharp.
