In this case, simply discharge them outdoors by inserting any small point into the
valve. Once they are empty, they can be disposed of as aluminum scrap.
When discharging the canisters, point them away from
people and stand upwind of the discharge.
If you have no way to recycle the empty canisters, or are otherwise reluctant to
dispose of them, you can ship them back to their point of origin for disposal:
Be certain that they are empty (less than 30 psi) then package them in a plain
cardboard box, without any green diamond label. Mark the box as "Empty
Canisters for Destruction". Ship them, prepaid, to
