Error Condition
When the stacking tray was raised, the paper detect sensor (front) did not go ON, even after the
stacking tray overflow sensor went ON and the stacking tray lift motor had operated for 40 mm of lift.
Major Cause
 Paper detect sensor (front) defective
 Stacking tray lift motor defective
Solution
 Reconnect the connector.
 Replace the stacking tray lift motor.
 Replace the paper detect sensor (front).
 Replace the master control board.
 Replace the motor harness.
 Replace the sensor harness.

 Reconnect the connector.
 Replace the stacking tray lift motor.
 Replace the paper detect sensor (front).
 Replace the master control board.
 Replace the motor harness.
 Replace the sensor harness.
