3.6 Modulation Analysis Measurement
"RU Allocation Index" on page 1037: You can set the RU allocation index for the
each 20MHz sub band; this will determine the RU allocation, including RU Size and
User Number, of each RU.
"RU Size" on page 1034: Apart from RU Allocation Index, you can also set RU size
directly.
"RU State" on page 1036: You can set the state of each RU to On or Off.
"Tx Chain Number of Each RU" on page 1040: You can set the TX chain number of
each RU.
"User Number of Each RU" on page 1041: Apart from the RU Allocation Index, you
can also set the user number of each RU directly.
"User MCS" on page 1041: Modulation and Coding Schemas range from 0 to 13.
Modulation Format can be determined by MCS.
"Spatial Stream Number of Each User" on page 1041: Spacial Stream Number of
each user.
"Channel Coding Mode of Each User" on page 1042: Channel coding mode of each
user.
"DCM of Each User " on page 1042: DCM state of each user.
More Information
802.11ax/be utilizes RU (Resource Unit) allocation to implement OFDMA.
AP (Access Point) will send RU allocation signaling (8 bits for each 20 MHz band) to
indicate RU allocation pattern (including RU size and RU position). In order to
demodulate OFDMA signal, it’s required to set Modulation Format
(BPSK/QPSK/16QAM/64QAM/256QAM/1024QAM/4096QAM) and MCS
(Modulation and Coding Schemas, range from 0 to 11).
RU Size
This parameter determines the size of each RU.
This is a list of parameters, and the length of the list is the number of RUs.
Remote Command
[:SENSe]:DEMod[:WLAN]:RU:LIST:SIZE <integer>,<integer>,<integer>,…
[:SENSe]:DEMod[:WLAN]:RU:LIST:SIZE?
Example
:DEM:RU:LIST:SIZE 26,26,26,26,26,26,26,26,26
:DEM:RU:LIST:SIZE?
Notes The length of the list is variable and determined by the number of RUs
