6.7 Functions of the viewer screen

Scattered radiation correction
IMPORTANT
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
• This function is only available for images that are ex-
posed on the DR Detector.
• Scattered radiation correction cannot be applied to
stitching images.
• Scattered radiation correction is not available when
the highlighted tube/gauze function is turned on. In
this case, rst turn the highlighted tube/gauze function
off to apply scattered radiation correction, then turn
the highlighted tube/gauze function on.

Select an image whose scattered radiation
you want to correct.

Press one of [ROI Adjustment], [Masking],
[Cropping], or [Viewer].
• The viewer screen is displayed.

Press [Grid Suppress].
• Control panel to adjust the parameters is displayed.

Perform scattered radiation correction.
• Select ON or OFF for scattered radiation correc-
tion, then select the correction level.

Press [Return] when the scattered radia-
tion correction process is complete.
• Returns to the exposure screen.
