7.17 Lung lack/body motion blur detection
Use the lung lack/motion blur detection function to
search images with a high likelihood of having defi-
ciencies in lung images or motion blur.
IMPORTANT
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Lung images with deciencies are images in which the
entire lung is not in the image or not within the irradia-
tion eld.
Images with motion blur are images in which the lung
are blurry due to breathing, movement of the body,
etc.
This function targets front images of adult lungs.
Before rejecting image in which lung lack or motion
blur have been detected, be sure to check the images.
In images with lesions, foreign substances, etc. in the
lungs, lung lack or motion blur may be detected even
when not present.
As a false positive may occur or detection may not be
possible if exposure is performed with the exposure
eld at a slant, be sure to perform exposures with the
DR Detector parallel to the exposure position.
This function is available only when the DR Detector is
used.
It is recommended that this function be used during
examinations carried out on rounds.
