7.14 Merging and separation of studies

• When an accession number is used for the search, you
can change the status of every study related to the pa-
tient ID to the unexposed study. When using this func-
tion, contact Konica Minolta technical representatives.

Press [Search].
• A conrmation screen is displayed.

• When there are multiple sets of study results, the se-
lection screen that is displayed when multiple relevant
studies have been found is displayed. If you select a
destination to combine studies in and press [Execute],
the conrmation screen shown in Step 5 is displayed.
• The suspended or completed studies may be dis-
played depending on settings. To merge (reassign)
studies, select unexposed studies.
• If you press [To List] on the selection screen that is
displayed when multiple relevant studies have been
found, you return to the list screen. If the study to be
merged cannot be found after searching with the cor-
rect search terms, return to the list screen and redo
the search.
• Press [Cancel] to return to the search screen. When
there is a mistake in the search terms, return to the
search screen, enter the correct search terms, and
redo the search.

Press [OK].
• Press [Cancel] to return to the search screen.
• The studies are combined and the display re-
turns to the list screen.
IMPORTANT

• The study to be merged is suspended and the merging
examination is deleted.
• Depending on the setting, you can leave the merging
study in an unexposed state.
When leaving the merging study, check the [Retain
the source study] check box in the merge conrmation
dialog window and then press [OK].
• When using the [Retain the source study] option, if the
data has already been sent to an external system or
you want to recreate the study as a new examination,
check the [Update the source study as new study]
checkbox and press [OK].
• If you press [OK] without checking the check box, the
merging study is deleted.
