DHCP Config Commands
Sets the DNS server’s IP address available to all DHCP clients connected to the pool. Use
the
no dns-server command to remove the DNS server list.
Supported in the following platforms:
• RFS7000
• RFS6000
• RFS4000
Syntax
dns-server <IP address>
Parameters
Usage Guidelines
For DHCP clients, the DNS server’s IP address maps the host name to an IP address. DHCP
clients use the DNS server’s IP address based on the order (sequence) configured.
Example
RFSwitch(config-dhcp)#dns-server 2.2.2.222
RFSwitch(config-dhcp)#
dns-server <IP address> Configures the DNS server’s IP address
• <IP address> – Sets the server's IP address. Up
to 8 IPs can be set
