 Radius Configuration Commands
Configures a proxy RADIUS server based on the realm/suffix
Supported in the following platforms:
• RFS7000
• RFS6000
• RFS4000
Syntax
proxy [realm|retry-count|retry-delay]
proxy relam <relam-name> server <IP> port <1024-65535>
secret{<secret>|<secret>|<secret>}
Parameters
Usage Guidelines
Only five RADIUS proxy servers can be configured. The proxy server attempts six retries
before it times out. The retry count defines the number of times the switch transmits each
RADIUS request before giving up. The timeout value defines the duration for which the
switch waits for a reply to a RADIUS request before retransmitting the request.

The realm name is a string of up to 50 characters
• server <IP> – Sets the proxy server IP address
• port <1024-65535> – Sets the proxy server port number
• secret {<secret>|<secret>|<secret>} – Sets the proxy
server secret string
• <secret> – Password is specified UNENCRYPTED
• <secret> – Password is encrypted with a password
encryption secret
• <secret> – Sets the proxy server shared secret up to
32 characters
retry-count <3-6> Defined the proxy server retry count value
retry-delay<5-10> Defines the proxy server retry delay time (in seconds)
