B. DURING TURNING
When the tractor turns, the road resistance to the wheel
located on the inside of the turn increase (as if braking
was applied to the side only). If one of the wheels slows
down, the difference in rotating speed is generated in
the differential side gears (5).
When rotating speed of one differential side gear be-
comes lower than the other, the differential pinions (3)
start rotating on their axes.
The other differential side gear is increased in speed
by the increment of the differential pinions (3). This
means that rotation of one rear axle is slowed down
and that of the other rear axle is increased. Thus, the
tractor turns smoothly without power loss.

A. DURING STRAIGHT RUNNING
Rotation of the spiral bevel pinion (2) is transmitted to
the spiral bevel gear (1) and differential case (4).
When road resistance to right and left wheels are
equal, differential pinions (3) and differential side gears
(5) are all rotates as a unit. Both rear axles received
equal input, and both wheels turn at the same speed,
allowing the tractor to go straight ahead.
At this time, differential pinions (3) do not rotate around
the differential pinion shaft (6).
