A. ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH
The oil pressure switch is located on the rear left side
of the engine. The switch opens under normal oil
pressure(above 0.5 ± 0.1 kgf/cm²) and closes when oil
pressure is low(0.5 ± 0.1 kgf/cm²) to complete the
ground circuit of the oil pressure warning light.
When the ground circuit is completed, the oil pressure
warning light illuminates on the instrument panel when
the key switch is turned to the “ON” position. If the light
does not go out after the engine has started, first check
the engine oil level. If the oil level is correct, check for a
malfunctioning switch by verifying oil pressure with AM
a gauge.

SOR
The coolant temperature sensor is located at the left
front side of the engine inside the thermostat housing.
This sensor regulates a variable resistance to ground,
which translate into the movement of the temperature
gauge.
