1.2 ENGINE EPA DECAL
This aluminum decal is riveted on the engine cylinder
head cover. This provides the information such as model
number, displacement, rated output, valve clearance,
injection timing, etc.
This decal represents that this engine is in compliance
with the U.S.EPA and California (CARB) exhaust emis-
sion regulation.
1.3 BAR CODE FOR ENGINE NUMBER
The bar code for the DAEDONG engine number is
located on the intake manifold.
1.4 ENGINE NUMBER ASSIGNMENT
STANDARD
The engine number is also stamped near the fuel injec-
tion pump on the cylinder block, in case the bar code
is not available due to damage.

For example, FD4000001 means that this engine is
the first manufactured unit, 3B183 LXM, in 2006.
• The engine number is necessary information that
is requested on the warranty registration form.
This number should be on the form as well as the
tractor serial number and the amount of time used.
