4.2 DISASSEMBLY
1. Remove the wrench bolts (55) and remove the
charge pump. Remove items (48, 54, 53, 33) from
the charge pump casing (51).
2. Remove the wrench bolts (47) and remove the rear
cover (25) and gasket (44).
NOTE:
Lift the rear cover (25) away from the housing care-
fully because the valve plates (45, 46) may be stuck
to the bottom of the rear cover (25). If the valve plates
(45, 46) did not come away with the rear cover (25)
then remove them.
Keep the valve plates (45, 46) separate for cor-
rect assembly.
IMPORTANT
NOTE:
Replace the oil seal and O-ring with new ones when
installing.
For assembly, lubricate new O-rings, sealing washers,
oil seals and moving parts with clean hydraulic oil.
3. Hold the end of the motor shaft (7) and hit the hous-
ing with a plastic hammer to remove items (15 ~
24) as an assembly.
4. Remove the cylinder block, piston assembly, shoe
plate and set plate assembly from the shaft (7).
Remove the bearing (64) from the shaft (7).
5. Place your hand on the cylinder block (17) and turn
the housing upside down. Remove items (17 ~ 24).
6. Drive the shaft (2) and bearing (3) out of the housing.
Drive the bearing (3) from the shaft (2) and remove
snap ring (5).
7. Remove screws (13) (both sides). Using a soft ham-
mer tap the shaft of the swash plate (8) to remove
swash cover (14). Remove bearing (11) from the
swash cover (14). Tap the other end of the swash
plate (8) to drive out swash cover (9). Remove bear-
ing (11) and seal (10). Remove the swash plate (8).
8. Clean all parts in a cleaning solvent and dry using
compressed air. DO NOT use cloths to dry hydrau-
lic components.
